Hi, I'm Tracy
Hi, I'm Tracy
Certified Infant Swimming Resource Instructor Serving Santa Barbara Families
With nearly 20 years of experience as a certified ISR Instructor, I specialize in teaching infant and toddler Self‑Rescue™ swim lessons that help young children become safer and more confident around the water. After two decades in the golf industry, I felt called to pursue work that made a deeper impact. In 2005, I completed intensive ISR training and discovered the most meaningful and rewarding career of my life.
Originally from the North Shore of Chicago and raised in Oregon, I’m a proud University of Oregon graduate (GO DUCKS!). For many years, I’ve served the Phoenix community as a Board Member and Treasurer for the Drowning Prevention Coalition of Arizona, working alongside dedicated advocates to reduce childhood drownings. My past community involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors for Crisis Nursery and chairing Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona’s Blue Prints and Blue Jeans fundraiser.
As I relocate to Santa Barbara, I’m excited to bring my experience and passion for water safety education to local families. My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where your child can learn essential ISR Self‑Rescue™ skills — skills that give parents peace of mind and help children build lifelong confidence in the water.
Outside the pool, I’m an enthusiastic volunteer with the Cavalier Rescue Foundation and a proud “foster failure” many times over. My home is happily shared with six Cavaliers/Cavalier mixes: Moondoggie, Lovey, Velma, Flipper, Billie, and Barbie.
I look forward to becoming part of the Santa Barbara community and working with your family. Helping your child learn to float, roll, breathe, and survive in the water is an honor I take to heart.
